My paintings are the language I use for a diary of sorts. Where I give life to ideas that interest me or to my obsessions. For example, how does my artistic expression, and for that matter all art, play into our evolutionary strategies?  How does art improve our chances for survival? How does art further us as a species?

Another current fascination is my exhiliration and challenge of depicting movement  in a 2-dimentional form. The movement of emotional states. The movement of ecstasy and tragedy. The evolving geometries of love, passion and destruction. Ultimately, in my works, my most elaborate and cherished lies and simple truths can be found there...
